
Karen has lived and traveled throughout Asia for many years. While living in Asia she developed her beliefs in the healing power of alternative medicine. In 2002, shortly after her return to the US, she began studies in Oriental and alternative medicine.
Karen is certified in Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine by the National Committee on Acupuncture & Oriental Medicine (NCCAOM) and licensed by the Texas Medical Board.
She is also an Applied Clinical Nutritionist conferred by the Texas Chiropractic College, a program approved by the NCCAOM, the American Naturopathic Certification Board and the Texas Board of Acupuncture Examiners.
Karen is available to speak to your group or organization on various topics from general discussions on the benefits of alternative medicine to health concerns specific to your needs or interest.
Topics include, but are not limited to: benefits of alternative medicine, use of herbs, the flow of qi, bone & joint health, balancing hormones naturally, blood sugar handling, chronic fatigue, fibromyalgia, fertility, diabetes, good health through nutrition, gastrointestinal health, pain erasure, etc.
